You can also stay the night in luxury accommodation. They have 20 elegant and spacious rooms available; all rooms have WiFi and have heated floors. You can pick a room that has either a balcony or veranda view. Great for sunset viewing and witnessing the sunrise of Kapiti Coast.

Old St Paul’s

Are you still looking for your wedding day’s something old and new?

Then, you should check Old St Paul’s! Whether you want a traditional or modern wedding ceremony, Old St Paul’s will welcome you in its beautiful historic venue.

The enchanting stained glass windows and classic wooden interior of this heritage wedding ceremony venue make for a timeless touch!

Since Old St. Paul’s is no longer a parish church, their doors are open for EVERYONE that is in love and want to solidify their union. Regardless of faith, culture, and gender.

They don’t provide a minister or celebrant, so you have to arrange this yourself! Although you can find an extensive list of celebrants in New Zealand’s government website.

The fee to hire Old St. Pauls varies for summer and winter; it will cost you $1,300 and $1,100, respectively.

You can have as many guests as you want when you have your ceremony at Old St. Pauls because they can seat up to 450 people!

When you hire them as your wedding venue, you will get exclusive use of Old St. Paul’s for 90 minutes. Weddings typically take 30 to 40 minutes!

Their wedding coordinator will also assist and collaborate with you to achieve an unforgettable wedding ceremony at Old St Paul’s. The coordinator will be there on your rehearsal and will greet and give cues during the ceremony.

You will also get to choose between three pew decorations inside Old St. Paul that will be designed by Wellington’s fashionable florist—Flowers Manuela.

There are extras that you can avail for an additional cost such as:

  • hiring Old St. Paul’s musician to play the grand piano or organ
  • bells that ring once the wedding ceremony completes

If you are thinking about having your wedding ceremony at  Old St Paul’s, note that they don’t have a reception hall, so you have to hire a different venue for that.
